                                               I Exist

I Exist is the National Autistic Society’s campaign to improve the lives of adults with autism.

The campaign has had key wins across England, Scotland and Wales since its launch in February 2008, and has launched in Northern Ireland on October 16th. These include: a major announcement from the Department of Health in England, which included funding for a study into the numbers of adults with autism; new guidance published by the Scottish Government to help meet the needs of adults with autism; and a commitment to recognise the needs of adults with autism in Wales in the Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) action plan.

These achievements are a testament to the fantastic level of support that there has been for the campaign. To follow-up this success, we now need to concentrate on our demands at a local level to ensure that real changes happen locally.  Take action  to transform the lives of adults with autism, find out more about I Exist  and read the words of the champions  who are supporting the campaign.
